Speech & Debate Academy (SDA) is an after-school program where youth have an opportunity to learn and practice public speaking and debate skills. They will be encouraged to express their own opinions in thoughtful and creative ways. Students will meet once a week for five weeks. Classes will be divided by age and experience level.Space may be limited.
Who
- This in-person Monday night class is designed for students in grades 5 and 6.
When & Where
- Walter Murray Collegiate at 1905 Preston Ave S in Saskatoon.
- Classes will run every Monday night. Thers will be 5 classes over 7 weeks.
- No class on Monday February 19 for spring break.
- No class on Monday March 4 due to facility constraints. The last class will either be Tuesday March 5 or Monday March 11. You can select your preferance on the registration form.
- January 29 to February 5.
- 6:15 - 7:45 PM.
How to Register
- Students must be a SEDA member to access Speech & Debate Academy.
- $80 Registration fee (per term).
- E-transfer to director@saskdebate.com by January 14. Put the students name followed by SDA3 in the memo line.
- Students that withdraw less than 72 hours before the first class will still owe the full-term fee.
