Welcome to our second term of Speech and Debate Academy.
Speech & Debate Academy is an after-school program where youth have an opportunity to learn and practice public speaking and debate skills. They will be encouraged to express their own opinions in thoughtful and creative ways. Students in grades 5 to 12 will meet once a week for five weeks.
Please download our course guide below before registering. The course guide explains the different levels of classes we offer and has class descriptions.
Class sizes are capped to less than 25 per stream.
How to register
- The first step in registering is becoming a SEDA member! Many of you are already a SEDA member and have filled in our membership form. If you have not filled in a membership form this fall, please do so HERE before registering for speech and debate academy.
- Read the course guide linked below to decide which level of classes you would like to register for. Remember, even if you compete at tournaments in one level, you may still chose a different level in our academy.
- Fill in the Speech and Debate Academy Term 2 Registration Form by Nov 1, 2021
- Pay the $50 registration fee by Nov, 1 2021. E-transfer director@saskdebate.com and please put your child’s name followed by SDA2 in the description
