Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Summer camp is open to students who want to learn about speech and debate in a friendly and engaging learning environment. Students will build confidence and develop skills such as critical analysis and persuasive speaking.

Campers brand new to debate and public speaking can expect a set of classes designed to cover the basics, while campers who have debate experience will enjoy classes that build on their knowledge and enhance their skills. Every day at summer camp is a little different. You can expect classes focused on individual skills, group games and activities, and opportunities to practice their newly acquired skills!

I really liked debate camp because the debate rounds were fun and I loved the topics. It helped me a lot on my critical thinking. All the instructors are very nice and friendly. The feedback from rounds and practice was really usefull, and the games were so fun. I loved making new friends too! Thank you SEDA!
