Join Carrie Pengilly in an afternoon of speech and presentation work. Students will explore expression, articulation, body language, presentation and improvisational speaking. Strong public speaking skills are critical for persuading judges and feeling more comfortable competing in debate and speech tournaments
Who
This workshop is intended for Beginner and Intermediate Students. Beginner Students are brand new debaters or debaters who have just finished their first year. Usually in Grade 5 and 6. Intermediate students have a few years’ experience and are familiar with basic argumentation, prep, and refutation, but are wanting to refine their skills and gain more complex ones. Usually in Grade 7 and 8.
